Make Love Not War

Acrylic on canvas

24" x 24", 2002

“Make Love Not War” was the mantra of the anti-war war movement in sixties. During times of war and strife, people often get the urge to procreate, to make sure that life will go on. Also at these times, we come to realize that the things that matter most to us are the people in our lives. Some times after a major disaster we see a spike in the birth rate a year later.
