My Demons Under Control

This is the twenty-seventh painting I have done using dream imagery. This dream occurred while I was enduring an excruciating bout of kidney stones. I believe the pain medication may have contributed to this vivid nightmare. The main story line was that I returned to the neighborhood I grew up in one night, and found all of my demons securely locked up in an old house. The large figure in the foreground is myself, walking away from the house, walking away from my past, and away from my old ideas about who I am.
